missingWrote a review on Nov 20complimentary snacksclean roomsnoisy environment
The complimentary grab-and-go food offers decent options like apples and bananas, which is a nice touch. Rooms are clean with essential amenities like a fridge and microwave, making them comfortable for short stays.
The property feels like a pricey roadside motel, especially with the noisy air conditioner and bathroom fan disrupting peace. The room views primarily overlook the busy road or parking lot, detracting from the river experience. Check-in can be awkward as it requires filling out a form via text, leading to confusion when the office is closed. Limited breakfast options and a lack of decaf coffee are also disappointing, especially for the price.

Consider requesting a room on the top floor for a quieter experience, especially if you're sensitive to noise from above.

Breakfast treats in the main office were welcoming.
The check-in process was confusing and poorly managed. After getting a message that required me to fill out a form, I spent over an hour wondering when someone would respond, only to find out the office was closed. Additionally, the air conditioning was excessively loud, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

My stay at Riverhouse was delightful. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, featuring a comfortable king bed and a microwave for convenience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, offering assistance during my visit, and the free breakfast treats of coffee and snacks in the morning were a lovely touch.
No elevator access.

The room was super roomy and impressively clean. I was really happy with the fridge, microwave, and coffee maker—it all worked perfectly. The bed was one of the comfiest I've slept on! The only thing was the bathroom setup. the lights could wake someone up at night since they're located outside.

The place was perfect for our getaway. Close to Mount Monadnock for hiking and the Park Theatre for local shows. The staff was super friendly and we loved the morning coffee. Definitely recommend for a fun stay with lots of local activities nearby.
Our room was comfy but we had some noise issues because it was near the main road.

The location is a strong point, just a short walk to downtown and right on the river, providing a pleasant backdrop. The room was incredibly spacious and clean, equipped with a microwave and refrigerator, which added convenience. However, the absence of an elevator made lugging luggage to the upper levels a hassle, and the road noise detracted somewhat from the experience. Though the continental breakfast was limited to grab-and-go items, the coffee was a nice touch after a long day.
